Chelsea Investment Corporation has a disciplined focus on the development of family and senior multi-family housing for low-to moderate-income households and individuals. If specific requirements are met, CIC will undertake the acquisition and rehabilitation of existing multi-family housing projects for rehabilitation and financial restructuring.

From 1994 to 2006, CIC has developed over 4,200 affordable housing units at a cost of approximately $800 million. CIC currently has an additional 1,000 units under development throughout San Diego County, Imperial County, and Sacramento County.

Infill Land: 30,000 square feet or more
Suburban Land: 3 acres minimum
Rural Land: Up to 20 acres
Zoning:
  • Medium Density Residential
  • High Density Residential
  • Mixed Use
  • Locations: Redevelopment Areas, Enterprise Zones, and Federal Renewal Areas throughout California
    Other Land: Industrial Land in Transit Oriented Districts
    Acquisition Rehab:
  • 60 units or more
  • $100,000 per unit maximum
